 GUJMIN INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION-GUJMIN was established by group of visionaries who visualized the necessity for an association with noble intention to resolve the problems faced by units engaged in mining of various minor and major minerals. GUJMIN’s philosophy is to support and encourage the development of the mining industry for the betterment of the society and create an ideal synergy between various stakeholders like Sate Government, Central Government, Organizations, Professionals, Associations and apex bodies. Over the past 55 years, GUJMIN has provided platform to its members to share the information and work together for the holistic interest of Gujarat’s Mining Industry. GUJMIN plays a key role in providing opinion and expertise to various government and policy makers for the growth of mining industry in Gujarat.

          The day to day affairs of GUJMIN is looked after by Executive Committee, comprises of well experienced and technically qualified members, devoting their valuable time for the benefits of members. Over and above, GUJMIN has also formed different committees like Technical Committee, Legal Committee to handle the issues relating to mining industry to represent at different levels. The GUJMIN is also the member of Federation of Indian Minerals Industry (FIMI), Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industries (GCCI), and Chamber of Indian Trade & Industry (CITI). The GUJMIN takes up cases of grievances of its members and tries to redress the same. As per the suggestion of Ministry of Industry & Mines, GUJMIN has constituted Core Committee which is actively working by convening meetings periodically. With a view to disseminate the important information and latest development, GUJMIN is publishing its in-house publication “KhanijPatrika” on quarterly basis and circulated amongst the members. The publication contains the efforts made by GUJMIN for resolving the issues of Mining and mineral Industry and latest news and developments in this sector and overall economy of our country. GUJMIN is also organizing training programs, conferences, workshops covering latest issues related to Mining Industry. Efforts are on to establish Skill Development Center to impart training to the staff engaged in Mining Sector such as HEMM operators, blasters, drivers etc. Thus, GUJMIN is putting its best efforts for betterment and development of Mining Industry in the State of Gujarat with the fullest support and patronage of various dept. of state and central governments, as Mining Industry is important source for generation of maximum employment with minimum investment.
